Website Information
Cookie Policy
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with the Speedy Van website and booking process.

1. About This Policy
Our website is operated by SPEEDYVAN LOGISTICS LTD, trading as Speedy Van.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal information for enquiries, quotations, bookings and payments.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. They can help a website maintain a login, remember preferences or support other functions.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and other methods of storing or accessing information on a device. Privacy rules can apply to these technologies as well as cookies.
First-party cookies relate to the website you visit. Third-party technologies involve other providers. Cookies may expire when a session ends or remain for a specified period.
3. Essential Website Cookies
Our administrator login uses a cookie to maintain an authenticated session. It supports restricted administrative access and is not used for advertising.
- Cookie name
- speedy_van_admin_session
- Provider
- Speedy Van — first-party cookie.
- Purpose
- Maintaining an authenticated administrator session.
- Duration
- Up to eight hours. Removed when the administrator signs out.
- Scope
- Set when an administrator signs in. Ordinary visitors do not need to sign in to an administrator account.
Technologies that are strictly necessary to provide an online service you request may be used without consent where the applicable legal exemption applies.
4. Payments Through Stripe
When you choose to pay your booking deposit, you are redirected to a payment page hosted by Stripe at checkout.stripe.com.
Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its payment page to operate the payment service, authenticate users and help detect or prevent fraud.
Additional technologies may apply depending on the payment method or optional features you choose, such as saving payment information for future purchases.
Technologies used on Stripe’s hosted page are separate from the administrator cookie described above. Their purposes, durations and available controls are explained in Stripe’s information.
5. Address Search and Route Calculations
Our address-search feature uses Google Maps services to obtain address suggestions and calculate journey distances and driving times.
Sharing address-search text or journey locations with a mapping provider is distinct from placing cookies on your device. Personal information involved in these requests is explained in our Privacy Policy.
6. Optional Technologies and External Services
Any analytics, advertising or other optional technologies requiring consent will only be activated after valid consent has been obtained. Where offered, the relevant controls will allow you to change or withdraw that consent.
Where a technology qualifies for another legal exemption, we will provide the information and controls required for that exemption.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp links take you to external services. Those services may use their own cookies or similar technologies after you open them, according to their policies and your choices.
Agreeing to our booking Terms or continuing to browse does not by itself constitute consent to optional technologies that require consent.
7. Managing Cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Your browser may also provide controls for other stored website data.
Deleting the administrator session cookie requires the administrator to sign in again. Blocking it prevents that session from working.
Blocking technologies used by a payment provider may affect the ability to complete payment or use particular payment features.
Clearing browser storage may also remove saved preferences. Browser settings do not replace a website’s obligation to obtain consent where consent is required.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when our website technologies or service providers change. The revision date identifies when the policy was last updated.
